Rain Drop, Plop was an interesting book that taught the concept of counting numbers. I really enjoyed how it was told like a poem almost. As I was reading I caught myself almost singing it like a nursery rhyme. The illustrations fill every page with color and show exactly what is going on in the book at that time. I think I would use this in my classroom to help teach students about numbers and how to count them. I think this would catch their attention greatly. ( )

Adorable rhyming, counting book with cute illustrations. It features a little girl and her dog on an adventure outside in the rain, then inside for a bubble bath. Perfect for this time of year! ( )

Review:
This book is non-fiction because it doesn't have any nonrealistic parts. The girl is playing outside in the rain counting, and then running home. counting down as well.
Use:
1) Counting 1-10 and backwards as well
2) Talk about the things you need to wear to stay dry outside of the house
