Come appassionato di Allen (sia nel cinema che nella letteratura) sarei disposto a leggere anche la sua lista della spesa. Anche questa antologia di racconti fa trasparire la sua solita vena caustica e si legge piacevolmente. Peccato che la traduzione faccia perdere molto significato alla scrittura: sarebbe stato consigliabile inseire qualche nota in più del traduttore. Forse non è la sua migliore fatica letteraria ma è comunque apprezzabile. ( )
Brutto libro, per fortuna prestato e NON acquistato: anche perchè non mi sarebbe mai entrato nella testa di comprarlo. Molto specchiato su se stesso, sul proprio microcosmo: referenziale, pomposo, eccessivo. Diciamo che Allen non mi ha mai fatto impazzire, soprattutto negli ultimi anni, e chiudiamola qua. ( )
Desigual, sino de muchas recopilaciones. Junto a textos realmente ingeniosos, como “Dios (una comedia)”, otros son anodinos. El estilo de algunos diálogos, comentarios y expresiones que pueden resultar brillantes en las películas de Woody Allen, incluso traducidas e interpretadas por el actor de doblaje, resisten con dificultad expuestos negro sobre blanco. Recomendable para aficionados de Allen. ( )
