A sweet story of a girl who really wants a dog, and so wanders around with a lead and collar of her 'invisible dog' called Henry. Eventually this softens her parents hearts, and they decide to get a real dog... and, in a very gently spooky twist, the dog they get looks exactly like the dog she imagined, and even has the same name! Heartwarming, and with an incidental witch (a 'show don't tell' witch, which might be interesting for younger children to work out) and a very happy ending. ( )

I do not know why but I like this book a lot!

I loved the part where They found out that the dog they were adopting was named Henry like the other dog that they pretended was real. ( )
