This book could be very informative, as long as the reader understands what each animal's action really is. The way the book is set up could make it confusing because when you first open it up, the top page says swim and the bottom page is a picture of a horse. If the reader does not know that a horse does not swim, then they may think that a horse swims. I think that if an adult was to help out the reader match the picture with the correct word, then this book would be very beneficial to their learning. By explaining to the child that when the top page is flipped, which is the page of just words, that the picture below may not match. It is their job to match the correct animal with the correct action. They should be able to understand that a caterpillar does not hop, but a frog does. Also, if they say that a frog swims it should be the adult's responsibility to inform the child that that is also correct. If a child is able to do this on their own then I think this book would be a great benefit to revisit the basic animal actions. It could also be a great benefit to any age level to get up and do what the action is telling them to do. ( ) näyttää 2/2 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
