It is about a saguaro cactus, and all of the animals in the desert. I️ enjoyed reading and using this book within my storybox.

This is a great informational story about the desert that shows the circle of life, predators as well as seed propagation.The add-on repetition makes the story easy to read and memorize. This is a good book to use as a tool in a science unit as it covers many different scientific topics. It also contains information and facts about saguaros in the back of the book. This is a suitable story for kindergarten-2nd grade.

The story is great, the illustrations are gorgeous, I love it! It is absolutely the best. It really captures the essence of the southwest. It's a very repetitive book in terms of it's writing content, so it is a great book for younger kids who are learning to read because the repetition will help them learn to read. Overall, this book a great story and is a really enjoyable read. ( )
