Early Texas homes (vuoden 1956 painos)

I found myself rather disappointed in this book, I think because I wanted to have more architecture and less "who lived here when." There are no pictures of interiors and no historical pictures of exteriors, so I got no idea of what had been done with (or to) the houses. I think it's also a mistake to try to read the book straight through; it's better suited to dipping into.

It's not at all a bad book, just not what I like best about domestic architecture. For a much better idea of historic Texas domestic architecture, try Cynthia Brandimarte's Inside Texas instead. ( )
