I love dogs, so this is why i chose to watch this read aloud. I love silly stories about dogs. The main characters dog acts human at night. His owner followed him everywhere he went at night to see what he does. He made it to a place called the dog house. The place was a place for dogs to relax and talk. I thought it was very cute to have a story from a dogs perspective. I always think my dog is human, so i think this is a very funny book. ( )

This story is hilarious. A little boy follows his dog at night. His dog gets out of a limousine and goes to a night club, which the dog is in charge of. At the nightclub, their are other dogs are singing and dancing as well. As the night ends the dog goes back home in the morning as if nothing ever happened. This book as to be one of my favorite children's books, it reminds me a lot of Toy Story in the sense of not knowing what your toys, or in this case his dog, does when they think no one is watching. I am sure children reading this will now want to stay up and watch what their pets do at night when they are asleep. I do not see the underlying "lesson" if you will in this book, nonetheless, it is a funny book to read to your children if you want to make them laugh. I really enjoyed this! ( )

I love this book because it shows a great example of fantasy. This story is about a young boy who follows his dog at night. His dog came out of the limousine and wonder what his dog does. Come to find out his dog runs a club where other dogs dance, sing, and talk. His dog is a manager at a night club. This story is entertaining, and the illustrations are colorful, very detailed. I know the child would love this story. I believe the theme is imagination. ( )
