Super, super cute. I think the assembly skills are a little beyond me at the moment, but I really like the ideas! It's possible the number of stars could change depending on how complete the instructions are (which I won't know until I try one) but they look good for now. ( )

Very cute projects. I've already made three or four of them, plus used the basic patterns to create creatures not in the book. Be sure to check out the author's blog, as well, for additional tutorials and patterns. ( )

It' s good to learn something new. Recently I've started learning to make amigurumi, little Japanese crocheted dolls. I started with this book: Creepy Cute Crochet by Christen Haden. (Check out her etsy store! It's awesome!) Haden wanted to create patterns for things that weren't covered in the more mainstream craft books, like aliens and zombies. I really loved the idea of crocheting a ninja. I was able to follow the patterns despite being new to crochet, and I loved the results.
