It took me a little longer than usual to disappear into this book, but it was well worth the wait! A wonderful philosophical murder mystery! This one really grabbed me, it is a strange mix of things that you can never second guess. There were a few times when I thought I had skipped a chapter but instead it was because I thought I understood what was happening. Brilliant. My favorite Murakami, after The Wind-Up Bird. It's more or less a part 2 to Wild Sheep Chase, but both can be read as stand-alones. I accidentally read this one first, and I think the experience is just as good (although surely different). Sometimes the Sheepman's way of talking got on my nerves, but that's about my only negative critique. I really love his characters, their thoughts, their way of seeing the world. ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu

Sehr spannend, sehr mystisch, sehr faszinierend.
Klare Empfehlung! (
