Helped in my relationship to understand the male species a little better and he said it helped him with the point system. :) ( ) Why Mars and Venus collide: improving relationships by understanding how men and women cope differently with stress by john gray Love the series and know I will gain a lot of knowledge from this one even if some of the problems don't relate to me directly. Lot of technical information about the parts of the brain and in each how they effect us. So much hormone discussions and how to achieve the highest level possible and what actions you can take to help yourself and your spouse. I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device). This book is helpful in that it explains the physiological reasons men and women react differently under stress. While it had some valid points (not expecting the other person to fill all of your needs, and learning to be assertive rather than aggressive in communication), it put men and women in sterotypical boxes instead of acknowledging that each of us is an individual with specific individual needs. I guess I felt particularly offended because my husband and I do not fit in those steroetypes. So...read with caution!
