This book tells a story about a dog and a lost little duck became good friends. A girl and her dog Biscuit find a little duck lost inside a stone rift, then they send the little duck back to it's family. Biscuit seems like having fun with his new friend: the little duck. After that, they have fun with each other till the girl ask Biscuit to leave.

Biscuit is the first book I read all the way through by myself when I was a child so the series holds close to my heart. This book is about biscuits finding of a new duckling who he becomes friends with. The duckling comes along with biscuit but when they go to the park the duckling joins a family of other ducklings and returns to where its meant to be. The book is illustrated very simply and works well for young children. The vocabulary is also simple yet introduces new words.

How can you fail when you have a puppy helping a lost duckling find its family. You have to love the part when the wet puppy shakes itself dry all over the child! Appropriately cute and well illustrated for a young reader. "Biscuit" is a tough word on its own but this story allows it to become recognizable in context.
