The cowboy has haunted her visions since childhood and now she's finally met him. At first she flees in a fit of cowardice but soon realizes that the visions will no go away until she convinces him to find his son. The hero immediately rejects the heroine s help, thinking she's crazy or delusional or both but soon it becomes apart that her predictions are eerily accurate but the idea that his son , the child he didn't know about, is out lost in the woods spurs him into action. He drags the heroine into the search and they head out into the forest. The book was very weird. It wasn't really about anything other that the hero and heroine getting to know each other. Even though the lost boy brought them together for most of book he was a second thought. But the conversations between the two characters were dull and lifeless. I felt zero spark between them. It made me laugh at what they considered romance. They went from being just strangers to nonchalantly talking about marriage and kids and the whole shebang. But this wasn't a joke they were series. It was very strange and almost creepy I would venture to say. Almost like a cult. Well, the story was VERY religiously based. The two characters were total Jesus freaks and it got so goddamn played out when they both droned on and on about God and their religion and what a good Catholic should or shouldn't do. This book was so horribly boring with it's plotline and add in the God fetish, it turned me off before I even reach page 100. I mean, what dude is willingly celibate until marriage? My god it's unnatural. But like a good catholic, he finally ignores his vows and sleeps with the heroine in a hot spring in the woods. ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
