This was a really good book! I really enjoyed the illustrations of Vincent van Gogh and the photograph of his paintings. During van Goghs life, I did not know that he was formally an art dealer, teacher, bookseller, and preacher. I learned some new things about van Gogh that I did not know previously. The comic strips in the book are very helpful in understanding van Goghs thinking and inspirations. This book will be a pleasure for students to read! I would recommend this book for grades 2-4. (
