Great story and it kept me on the edge of my seat. It is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I did not read the first two. Highly recommend Wicked Grace!

Action-packed with opposites attract trope!! They are likeable main characters that you are rooting for and very steamy. A must-read for anyone who loves magical/supernatural with romance thrown in! ( )

I received this book as an early reviewer. This is the first book that I've ever read by Luna Joya. I loved the book! It is not your typical paranormal romance, and the characters are not your typical magical/supernatural characters. Alexei, a demon prince, is just dominant enough to be believable, and just vulnerable enough to be likeable. No one is *super* supernatural, but they are all gifted in one way or another, and that just adds to their appeal. The book alludes to shifters and speaks of mates, but it does not use any of the descriptions and explanations that have become all too common in so many books in this genre. All of the characters (except the villain) are likeable, and you are rooting for them to win. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it. ( )

Wicked Grace is the third installment in Luna Joya's Wicked series, following Wicked Crown and Wicked Match. Fraught with supernatural royals, the story sheds light on tortured souls regardless of their supernatural powers or their royal status.

Mafia boss Alexei is perceived to be a demon prince who will do anything to protect his family. A familiar character and one that has traversed across history. An orphan, Joelle also descends from a royal lineage and is perceived to be a sunshine princess that needs to be rescued from living in enslavement. Another familiar character and one that readers will find similar to the quintessential distressed damsel and lovable princess found in the collective understanding of ideal females.

Not quite a unique story but not a mundane story either. Joya's characters have a recurring theme of being sexy, bold, and upfront about their desires. The tension between Alexei and Joelle is also familiar to readers of the romance genre. Still, their particular love match warms the reader's heart and fodders the dream that wishing upon a star can manifest into happiness in the physical world. ( )

This is my favorite book in the series so far! Alexei and Joelle both have a difficult backgrounds and reputations. Their personal history has always stayed with them but currently they are a little lost and lonely in their own lives. When together they have amazing chemistry and I love how much they each feel that bond. The storyline is exciting and thrilling and kept me on the edge of my seat. The way this series weaves each book together is awesome and so well done. It can be read as a standalone but the overarching story is so good I wouldn’t want to miss it. It is also nice seeing different scenes from different viewpoints and characters throughout the books. A really great series that I would recommend for paranormal romance fans!
