Well-researched, in depth look into seven different serial killers, the cases, and victims.

The horrors described in these books that these serial killers committed, is beyond anything I could have imagined. I don't watch horror movies for a reason, and these books are the reason! People like these are what makes some of us very nervous to go out nowadays. The author did a great job researching the material for these books and I can't wait to see what they come up with next. ( )

I enjoyed the book. I consider myself a true crime fan, but the book had crimes that were new to me along with facts and photos of other cases. Definitely would recommend for true crime buffs. ( )

This book tells the story of seven mass murderers, many I’ve never heard of before. Each story goes into great detail, including the killer’s younger days, to attempt to explain why they turned out the way they did. The stories are well researched and in depth. I must warn you, a couple of the stories are rather gruesome, especially the first one, Richard Chase, and Leonarda Cianciulli, who made soap out of her victims. Many are sad, as well, especially for the victims.

It is an easy read as the prose is well written and flows easily. I was amazed how quickly I finished the book, especially considering its length.

I highly recommend this book, not only for true crime lovers, but anyone as well. It was a great read. Five well-deserved stars! ( )
