Eden Credere should be in Barbados with her new husband. Instead, it was like she married Murphy and his law was ruining her life. She'd lost her dad, her job, her best friend, and her fiancé. After drowning her sorrows with rum and eggnog on Christmas Eve, she takes a tumble in a tree lot with a Douglas Fir, sending Eden over the edge. Theliel has watched over Eden her entire life, from her first steps to her latest, where she dove in a tree lot. He's always been there to save her, and this time should have been no different-until it was. As her guardian angel, he's not supposed to be, but one corporeal slip-up later, and he's got a lot of explaining to do.As Theliel works to convince Eden why the world is a much better place with her in it, he finds himself the one falling, and it's Eden who catches his heart. In a twist of fate, Theliel must not earn his wings, but his humanity by convincing Eden they're meant to be together. The only problem is neither of them remember who he is when he wakes up on Christmas morning in a snowbank with no memories and no clothes. With the magic of Christmas in the air, love in their hearts, a vision of yoga pants, and maybe a little help from their "friends", all they have to do is believe.… (lisätietoja)

I thought this would be like “It’s a Wonderful Life” instead it was so much more. This shows you that with love you can be anything and accomplish anything. I really liked this book and would recommend it. I received a free book and the views and opinions are my own. ( )

A light holiday romance. It took me a while to decide to finish reading it because it is such a predictable plot, and while the writing is good, it just didn't catch me. After a while, there were a few twists that kept me reading and I did enjoy it in the end. ( )

I loved the idea of an angel wanting to stay with his/her charge for as long as possible. I love the idea of an existing friendship between that angel and the person who needs help. But I felt let down when the author (Wren Michaels) sexualized the relationship between Eden and her angel, Theliel. I was even more shocked all the references to Theliel's excitement over having his own sexual parts. I felt that this story had so much to give in the beginning, and as the book progressed, I felt that this was nothing more than a mating call. I'm just not in the right category of readers for this novel. ( )

I was selected for the Early Reviewer's program to review this book and I'm leaving my honest opinion.

This book is about a guardian angel who falls in love with his charge - the person he is guarding - and is primarily set around Christmas.

This was not a good book, in my opinion, though. The plot wasn't really fleshed out. I understand and get the purpose of where the story was going, but there could have been SO MUCH MORE done to this book to make it worth reading. Characters weren't really interesting enough to get a good grasp on them or root for them. ( This is a personal thing, but if I don't realistically feel like the relationship would work, I lose interest. This is a too fast type of relationship and just couldn't get into that ) It's also really predictable about what's going to happen, but it's a really quick read if anyone is interested. ( )
