While this book is written simply, it is utterly captivating as well. It is a quick read but very engaging. The characters are very relatable and the messages from the story are applicable to everyone. Follow your dreams, and don't be afraid to follow your dream. Even when you don't realize it, there are always people who love you and support you. ( )

This one was so full of hope! I was so glad to see more about Lizard, and Elsie made my heart smile. ( )

The second part of Lizard’s and Elsie’s journey. This story has quite a different feeling to it compared to Geary’s A Modern Witch series, simply because it’s a trilogy, one story in three parts and not a handful of interlooping stories, each centering on a different character and a different facet of one bigger, over-all story. Does that even mak sense? Nevertheless, though the feeling is a different one, Witches under Way was just as enjoyable as all the other books by Geary I’ve read (and I have, in fact, read them all).
I liked this trilogy’s protagonists from the very start – okay, maybe Elsie took some more getting used to but I still connected with her somehow almost instantly – and I just started loving them even more while reading this novel. The two of them are great, so different yet eerily the same in so many points – not that they would ever confess to that out loud- and it was great to see how they continued their journeys.
I also liked how the other characters got more of a platform in this novel, how Lizard and Elsie started interacting more and more not just with Jennie or each other – though it was also awesome to see their relationship unfold – but also with the rest of Witch Central and how it were these new relationships that at some points helped the two of them to overcome the problems on their journey while at other points they were what created some of the never poblems in the first place.
Well, I just loved it, plain and simple, it was great and awesome and captivating and all kinds of fascinating and… Well, just start readin, guys! ( )

Lovely addition to a lovely series.
I keep waiting to get tired of these, but so far I am still in love.

It seems as if nothing is happening, but oh, so very much is.

Elsie and Lizard are continuing their journey to self-knowledge and it is a fun journey to travel with them.

These books are just as "clean" as all the others.

And yeah, the willing suspension of disbelief is fully engaged. But hey, it is a book about a town of witches and NICE people. Mayberry and Bewitched combined.


There were a few more typos/editing issues in this than I am used to. But I don't remember ever finding one before and I think there were four or five in this one. Nothing to take you out of the story at all. ( )
