I received this book as an early reviewer, and really enjoyed the characters and the fact that, even though it’s a vampire romance, they are not your typical vampires. Book of the main characters have tragic backgrounds that affect their present lives, and that they need to work through, as it creates issues. But, watching them work together and working through those issues was well written. I enjoyed the book, I liked the characters and I know this is part of series, and I plan on reading the other books in the series. I definitely recommend it! ( )

Honorable Rogue by Linda J. Parisi is the second book in the Blood Rogue series. I started to read this not knowing it was the second in the series. As soon as I realised it was a sequel I went and read the first book. The second book is about vampire Hunter Pierce and human pathologist Tori. worlds collide, with Blood Rogues continuing to menace both human and vampire alike. Hunter Pierce enlists her to help in finding a cure for Nirvana, the dangerous drug that creates rogue vampires.

Well written and easy to read, packed with adventure. I enjoyed this dark vampire story, with a tingling romance between the main characters. Both characters have a different type of traumatic past so I enjoyed the insights into the former lives of both. The plot moved at a great pace although the arguing between both characters went on a touch too long. But overall loved the action, slow build romance and intrigue. Looking forward to reading the next in the series ( )
