Once I understood the reasons why he acted the way he did the pieces fell in place. I actually feel bad for thinking he was just lazy. I'll never look at a goldfish, hell any animal, now without thinking of this guy. Add in Chloe, who was perfect for him in every dang way and this was a match made in heaven. I like that the authors have them both something in common , as painful as it was, and helped them both come to terms with what they lost. As said as it was, I liked that Denver was the veteran in grief, and knew how to help Chloe find herself and find acceptance. I'm eagerly awaiting Phoenix and her story. I have every single one of these books preordered because this family is life. It's real, it's heartfelt, it's something that could happen anywhere and to anyone, and it's become family. You might be wondering how you'll know when your playboy ways are coming to an end.
