overall, excellent. I just find it repetitious and tiring to read how people fall for the most outrageous conspiracies ... But if you're into conspiracies and their causes, this should be a good book for you. (

An entertaining look at the various forms that political and religious conspiracies have taken, from the enduring institutions of the Masons, the long lasting results of the Sons of Liberty who sparked the American Revolution, to the self-indulgent Hell Fire Club to the awful results of the groups that grew into the Nazi Party. Two pages per organization; an illustration and an explanation. Bibliography and index. Entertainingly written.
