One reason is because the illustrations are very colorful and lively. The pictures themselves also tell the story, with the words really only being there to support the pictures. On one page, the book says "he found the door open" and the next pages are pictures of him rolling in leaves, digging in the trash and chasing cars. The pictures are also very fun and silly, for example there are penguins wearing sneakers and a nun as the soccer coach. The second reason I liked this book is because there are very few words. This gives children the opportunity to narrate what is happening in the picture instead of someone just telling them what is going on. In the middle of the book, after he gets hit in the head with a soccer ball, the next 17 pages are purely pictures. The main message in this book is just about being creative and having fun. The children get to really see what is going on and make up their own predictions on what will happen, and are encouraged to dream big. ( ) näyttää 2/2 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
In a story where almost everything is black and white, Dylan, a dalmatian, escapes from his home and becomes involved in a soccer game between penguins and skunks. Kirjastojen kuvailuja ei löytynyt. |
