Oh to struggle coloring in the lines. We have all been there. This is an excellent book to use as an example of "write" when doing Every Child Ready to Read sessions. You can use it as talking about the palmer/pincer grasps.....how development happens.....and how we gradually learn to color. And kiddos love markers. Heck. I love markers.

There isn't much of a plot. I do find it lacking in that regard. I mean, you could say there is a friendship between Purple and Crayon and they help each other. They find a way they compliment ( )

This is the sequel to When Pencil Met Eraser. This book follow the journey of a marker who could not stay within the lines. This book teaches kindness and how to be true to yourself. This book is also brightly illustrated. ( )
