Three baby owls wait in their nest for their mom to come home. The youngest one is the most annoying (and thus my niece’s favorite).

Really nice short picture book with big, clear illustrations. Just repetitive enough and not too scary. One owl is much less scared than the other two, and the mom does come home pretty quickly. ( )

Este libro, muy sencillito en cuanto a historia, nos habla de un tema con el que muchos peques se sentirán identificados: los sentimientos que afloran cuando una madre se separa (durante unas horas) de sus hijos, ya sea porque estos van al colegio, porque la mamá tiene que ir a trabajar o a hacer algún recado...

Todas las sensaciones que pueden sentir los niños en estas situaciones (miedo, angustia, desesperanza...) se explican a la perfección en esta tierna historia. ( )
