A collection of essays, articles, stories and poems by and about prisoners on Death Row. I suppose the aim is to make the death penalty harder to stomach by humanizing the inmates, making them seem to be worthwhile, caring creative human beings. I have always opposed the death penalty, but only because I feel it is innately wrong - not out of any particular feelings of concern for the death row inmates. Most of them are scum, and I have no problem with locking them up forever. Nor do I shed a tear when one is executed; I only feel another pang of regret that society has again killed in my name. In all our names. ( ) ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
