Join bestselling author Beth Moore in her life-changing quest of vine-chasingâ??and learn how everything changes when you discover the true meaning of a fruitful, God-pleasing, meaning-filled life.
Most of us have times when, if we are honest, we'd admit to feeling like our lives are embarrassingly small and insignificant. Times when it seems like we're going through a whole lot of pain and striving without much to show for it. Like our daily pursuits don't really matter in the long run.
At times like that, we can't help wondering if we really matterâ??to the world or even to God.
In Chasing Vines, Beth Moore gives us a new hope, revealing the abundant secrets of a fruitful, Kingdom-building, God-pleasing life. Tracing the images of vinedresser, vine, branch, and fruit through Scripture, and sharing stories from her own journey, Beth shows us how nothing in our lives is wasted. Not the place we've been planted. Not the painful pruning. Not even the manure that gets dumped on us when we least expect it.
Beth is convinced from Scripture that every person who knows Jesus is meant to thrive in fruitfulness. Life might not always be fun, but in Christ, it can always be immensely fruitful. Nothing is for nothing.
Join Beth on her journey of discovering what it means to chase vinesâ??and learn how everything changes when we understand and fully embrace God's amazing design for growing us into fruitful, meaningful, abund

As a Beth Moore fan, I found this book to be one of the best I've ever read. She always has the ability to make the reader look at things a different way. I loved this book and would recommend. Note: I did receive a copy of this book through a goodreads giveaway. ( )

I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5, NIV)

Beth Moore looks at what the Bible has to say about vineyards and fruit-bearing, from Genesis to Revelation. Moore firmly yet gently asks readers to engage in deep self-reflection, looking at past sorrows and regrets, present hardships, and future hopes through a spiritual metaphor of viticulture. Her message to women is that your life matters, and nothing is wasted. Your past, present, and future may all contribute to a fruitful life. This message resonates with me at my stage of life, as I think about aging well and what that means in practical terms. I want to be like the trees of Psalm 92:

The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green,
to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

(Psalm 92:12-15, ESV) ( )
