I want more! Jill Shalvis knows how to write romance, especially a good alpha man. The only thing wrong with Holiday Wishes is the length of the novella. It’s a quick read and it will warm your heart. ( )

Sean behaved badly when they were teenagers, causing Lotti to become a 'serial monogamist'. When Sean finds her in the B&B he rented out for his brother's wedding party. He's determined to make up for his bad behavior and prove he's grown up, he only has to convince her to give him a chance. It's sweet and short and all you expect from a Heartbreaker story. There were moments where that I couldn't suspend belief, was just an okay read for me.

I'm super excited to read Sean's story, I have loved him since Pretty Little Lies, and now we get to see Sean in a newer light, one of responsibility and determination to make sure Finn and Pru's bachelor and bachelorette weekend goes well, so finding the perfect B&B that Pru wanted, is the least Sean could do for his brother, but what he wasn’t expecting was seeing someone from the past!

Lotti Hartford last saw Sean 10 years ago, when she told him she loved him, and yet he said nothing, now 10 years later, she is not feeling like she should be anything thing more than the professional B&B owner, and despite the awkwardness, Lotti is determined to get through this weekend, but she doesn't understand why Sean keeps insisting that he wants more?

I have truly fallen in love with the Heartbreaker Bay series, and for me, Holiday Wishes ties off the beginning part of the series for me. I liked Sean's character from the beginning of the series, despite the slacking off and being irresponsible; but in Holiday Wishes he has truly grown up, and it's wonderful to see his character develop. Lotti is an instantly likeable character, and I enjoyed her from the first blank stare!

For me this novella was perfect! I have fallen in love with Jill Shalvis style of writing, and just throw Christmas into that, and I am in heaven! I totally recommend this novella to everyone!

3.5 Stars - This was a super quick novella.. almost too quick. It was nice to visit all the other characters of the series, but I would have liked a bit more time to get to know Charlotte. I am looking forward to the next in the series. ( )
