If the author had aged them up by 5 years then I could have seen them having the “talk” about their future. Instead this short story made me dislike Rishi and I felt like the author changed up Dimple too in order to get to this HEA. He’s nervous about where he stands with Dimple, is she really anti-marriage or is she anti-marrying him specifically? It’s always going to be a bit much for me to see anyone (even a truly sweet guy like Rishi) in a contemporary setting pushing for a promise of lifelong commitment at nineteen years old, I’m not sure that’s him really being as understanding and respectful of her desire for independence as he claims, but I did like how things worked out, plus the family scenes are warm and entertaining. The Story:
I’m not sure why this is book 1.5 when it happens after There’s Something About Sweetie. Anyway, this is a look back to Rishi and Dimple’s relationship. They come to an impasse, a turning point that there will be no return from.
