this was one of my favorite books as a kid, i actually read it over and over again many times. I think it would go along with realistic fiction. It is about a group of young kids that make a home in a boxcar because they wanted to stay away from the mean grandfather thats supposed to take care of them. yet he wasn't mean at all and loved them dearly
