Frank Kinslow’s books are usually excellent and I give them five stars. This one, however, is an exception.

He devotes the first half of the book to denigrating positive thinking, the law of attraction, affirmations and “motivational techniques”, whatever he means by the term.

He states that the success rate of the law of attraction is 0.1 percent and, as far as science is concerned, there is no law of attraction.

He affirms that “positive thinking weakens”. It makes us less successful and results in less energy and poor achievement.

I don’t know how he knows all this, and don’t buy it. Abraham, as channelled by Esther Hicks, teaches us that we should constantly try to find a better thought. When we become more positive and let go of resistance, good things start to happen, both as regards health and abundance. I admit that I haven’t constantly been able to become more and more positive in view of the problems I have had. But on the few occasions I have let go of negativity and consciously focused on something positive, miracles have happened, and I really mean miracles.

He even disparages the famous Emile Coué, the originator of the affirmation “Every day in every way I’m getting better and better”, who helped thousands of people to improve their health.

In the second half of the book, he tells us that we need to become transcenders, and informs us about Quantum Entrainment and his Kinslow System. In this system we learn to quiet our mind and thereby access a positive (ha, ha!) feeling, a so-called Eufeeling, such as bliss, peace, lightness or love, and thereby become enabled to heal ourselves and others, in fact achieve whatever we desire.

I believe in the Kinslow system and find it wonderful to sit with Eufeeling, which is truly amazing, though at times I do find the state hard to achieve. What I don’t understand is why Frank Kinslow felt it necessary to ridicule positive thinking, the law of attraction, and so on, in order to accentuate the merits of his own system.

Thus, I would advise that you skip this book; if you’re interested in the Kinslow system, read his book of the same name or one of his other books (unless of course you too hate positive thinking and the law of attraction, in which case you might enjoy the present book). ( )
