This was a fantastic ending to a wonderful series. We finally learn why each of the characters have lost their memories. This book is about Simon who has really lost his way. I loved how he meets the other characters from the previous two books in the series and the three of them learn the truth. This has funny and sometimes frightening aspects to the story. I did not want to put down. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. ( )

The blip that was offered about this book sounded very interesting, and I decided to read it, and boy be ready for quite the ride.
Hard to imagine yourself in Simon’s shoes, bang, bang pounding on a door and walking but feeling still asleep, that is how we begin.
As the story unfolds you will be shaking your head, and wondering just what is going on?
At first, I felt a bit lost, and if I did, just imagine Simon, but as I pushed though things became clearer and clearer, but wow!
The drug is to take care of problems sounds like a wonderful idea, but? Loved the way the author’s mind works here, a bit deep, makes more and more sense as the facts unfold, and my take away is Greed!
A don’t miss story that feels so real, could really happen? Could be!

I received this book through Celebrate Lit Book Tours, and was not required to give a positive review ( )

If you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this is a must read. When a book grabs my attention right away, I know I am in for an exciting reading adventure. The author writes a very intense story that sent chills up and down my arms. How many of us have wished we could forget something from our past? Would you take a chance on a procedure that could free you from painful memories not knowing if there are any side effects?

Simon is the main focus in this story. I thought he was serious at times and had a very dry sense of humor. I loved the beginning of the story when Simon realizes he doesn't know who he is. The sudden knowledge that he has no clue where he is or who he is one of the best plots I have ever read. The author makes the story real with details that draw you in. I rooted for Simon as he discovers he is a suspect in his wive's death. I can't imagine waking up not knowing who you are. I would be scared, anxious and not knowing who I could trust.

As I read the book, I kept thinking about all the trials I have been through. I have even been asked if I could change the things I went through, would I. My answer has always been no. I believe everything I have gone through was to make me stronger and an example of God's grace and unconditional love.

I found the story to be very intriguing and there are places in the story where the brilliance of a gifted author shines through with subtle hints of what is to come. Simon knows deep down that he would never kill his wife. So the looming question is, who did it and why? Readers as you find yourself deeper in the story, be prepared for twists that will shock you and question who is able to be trusted. Trust is a big glaring word that a lot of us have trouble with. It was refreshing to see that characters turned to their faith and spent time talking to God. I was surprised at how much deceit went on with people who presented themselves as good people. The bottom line is "the love of money is the root of all evil." That verse is very prevalent in this story and it will be the undoing for some.

Thank you for writing a story with a medical plot much like you would find from authors like Robin Cook or Michael Palmer. In my opinion the author has surpassed these authors in plot lines, character development and medical knowledge. It is apparent that the author has done intense research about medical procedures which makes the story more realistic . As other reviewers have mentioned, I highly recommend reading the other books in the series to become familiar with the characters. If you have not read one of the author's books before, what are you waiting for?

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion. ( )

Ties That Blind by Chautona Havig is the third and final book in the Sight Unseen series. And it is an entertaining and engaging series. I would recommend reading the first two books (None So Blind and Will Not See) for a more satisfying reading of this one. Havig does a great job wrapping up the series as she introduces another person, this time a male, who has spontaneous memory loss, complete loss, not just where did I park my car, leave my keys type memory loss. Simon is awakened to the police knocking on the door, telling him his wife is dead and he doesn't even know he was married. And with that, the book is off and running and the mystery, emotional upheaval, and chaos in Simon's life just keep getting weirder every day. Readers again meet the two main characters from the earlier books and the three of them begin on a journey of enlightenment as the story unfolds and the puzzle of the amnesia is uncovered. The characters are strong and realistic and the story moves quickly with several twists and turns to the plot. Within the mystery of the amnesia, there is a rebuilding of broken (and forgotten) relationships and the hope of new beginnings. Through it all is woven a strong thread of faith in a God who is there and a journey of learning to trust in Him for the here and now and for the future ahead. And having wondered as I read the first two books what about the money?--ahh, the mystery is revealed! The Sight Unseen series has captured my imagination and has me wanting to read more of Havig's books. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author via CelebrateLit. A favorable review was not required and opinions are my own. This review is part of a CelebrateLit blog tour. ( )
