Sweet finish to the story arc. ( )

Lord of the Wyr Dragos Cuelebre and his pregnant wife Pia head to Vegas for Carling and Rune's wedding but an old enemy with a grudge changes everything.

The fierceness of their love shines through every moment, even when they fight, but more so as Dragos lets loose everything to find his mate and bring her back safely.

One of my favorite moments Dragos says, 'And as you are well aware, I've read several books about pregnancy. I've decided to consider you somewhat insane until the baby is born.'

Harrison packs so much into this novella and I enjoyed it all. There's slices of life, return of beloved characters, a bigger peek at Dragos' brother Death, intense situations with Pia and Carling's kidnapping and rescue and so much more. However mostly this book is about Dragos, who he is, how he's changed and what does his future hold and I loved it.
