This is about the story of a mother and child immigrating to a new country. It talks about the mistakes made and how she just wanted what best for her dream (her child) I thought that this book was super encouraging to her culture and the people in similar situations to her. A story on an immigrant mother who just moved with her child from their home to a new place. How they made mistakes, or didn't understand how things worked at first so they felt out of place. Until they made it to the library and learned to read, write and speak. And found their place again? Elementary
Dreamers is a powerful statement that immigrants don’t leave their languages and cultures behind while they explore new worlds. PalkinnotDistinctionsNotable Lists
