One of the main inspirations to try a recipe is an illustration of the end product. While author includes recipes, tips, a conversion table, and two indexes, the cookbook is short on illustrations. The author formatted supplemental material, shopping lists, and meal plans in an easy to follow style. However, the recipes themselves follow a story format. I received this book through a random LibraryThing member’s giveaway. Although encouraged as a courtesy to provide feedback, I was under no obligation to write a review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. What a great cookbook! I've had it less than one week and have made 3 recipes from it so far. Things I love about the book; it has a wide range of recipes and ingredients, it offers meal plans and grocery lists for clean eating, weight loss and muscle building. Each recipe has tabs on the top for quick reference if they are gluten free, vehetarian, vegan, etc. It's also easy reading and has a conversion chart. The only thing I wish the book had more of was photos of the completed recipes. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. I received this book and immediately was drawn to the easiness of meal prepping. The book has different sections with 2 week meal planning and prep. I immediately figured out which plan I wanted to start and put together my menu with ingredients. The recipes are easy and in about two hours, I had meals for a week. Breakfast, lunch and dinners. The meals were wonderful to have and many could be frozen. They are practical weekly shopping lists with easy to find ingredients to prepare your pantry for the week along with guidelines on how to freeze, thaw, and reheat your meals to help keep food fresh, safe and tasty.
