(It would seem, according to Pastor Brown's rabbi friend, that these seven figures are archetypal in Jewish tradition.) He then discusses the characteristics of each style, underlining the shadow side of each gift (a strong negative trait associated with the style), and outlines how one can better embrace and exemplify that style in one's life. -- There is a quiz at the outset, which helps the reader determine which style he/she is wired to exhibit, based upon attitudes and uses of money. -- On the whole, I enjoyed the book well enough, but it did not truly resonate with me. (I would have thought myself a Jacob, but the quiz suggests I am more of an Abraham.) Well-written (although repetitive at times), with good examples.
