This was my first time reading a book in a series by Tracie so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i LOVED this one so much. From Heartbreak to Happily Ever After this book had it all and more that was so enjoyable to read about.

The Characters were interesting to read about. Addie, Pearl and Isaac were definately my favorites. I felt for Addie with everything she endured with her father and brothers. It's Mind Boggling that a parent would do that to their child without a care in the world but i was so happy with how Addie's story ended.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was in 1902 Yukon and 1909 Seattle, Washington while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a PHENOMENAL Book 1 in this Historical Christian Fiction Series about a woman surviving being gambled off to a cheater!! Can't wait to read Book 2 and more by Tracie in the future!! ( )

I have been reading Tracie Peterson novels for several years and have always enjoyed them. This new series, which takes place in 1902 during the gold rush and the exposition gives insight into the new and exciting world that is opening up for the world. "Remember Me" is written along the lines of Ms Peterson's other novels and kept me guessing until the end. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. ( )

Remember Me is the first book in the Pictures of the Heart series by Tracie Peterson. My sincere thanks to Bethany House and the Library Thing Early Reviewers program for the opportunity to read this book and give my unbiased opinion of it in the following review.

The story begins with a little background where we learn that Addie has been used and abused by her father and older brothers while living in the Yukon during the gold rush. She is sold by her brothers and later escapes her situation. In the meantime, her first love Isaac has never forgotten her and their lives are destined to cross paths again. Will Isaac be able to understand what she went through, and will Addie be able to believe that Isaac could love her even in spite of her past? Can she truly believe that God loves her and wants the best for her when it looks like her past has come back to finish her off?

This was a sweet story of young love that remains true even through separation and adversity. This inspirational novel teaches of God's love, forgiveness, and protection during tough times. I especially enjoyed the reference to the exposition and all the wonderful new things that were introduced at a time of great advancements as well as the teaching of the history of the gold rush. To imagine never having a camera and how awed people must have been to think that they could own their very own Brownie and take their own photos! I look forward to seeing whose story will be featured next in the series. ( )

Review if Rememb I started reading this book and at time needed encouragement. Danger abounds for Addie at the hands of her own family. And at a time when she thinks she is safe, her brothers locate her. Addie struggled with not feeling like she can marry Isaac because of her past. Isaac had gone off to College with promise to Addie he would return and marry her. But just as Isaac found her so did her brothers - trouble for her. Abbie finds God's forgiveness and learned God's plan isn't always how we think it will be. But God walks with her through all the hardships. Any book Tracie Peterson writes will lift you up. ( )

Remember Me is the first book in Ms. Peterson's new 3 book series Pictures of the Heart. This beautifully written story just swept me away! The characters are well developed, realistic and engaging. The plot is excellent and at times it had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I definitely recommend this book and the series!
