Another excellent Star Wars book ( ) I have used Star Wars The New Essential Guide To Alien Species as a resource many times to understand who or what, where and how many characters look like, come from, behave and so forth. In my opinion every illustration is a masterpiece. The info provided is extensive and accurate. However, the reason for the four star rating is the same as why many guides get the same rating from me: This guide is already seriously lacking in its selection of species. Various new beings have been introduced into the expanded universe since the creation of this guide, thus rendering the guide incomplete-nevertheless, I recommend this guide to all die hard fans of the Star Wars saga. A complete guide to the creatures of Star Wars would be a massive undertaking; this guide provides good coverage of the ones that get screen time and play significant roles in many of the novels. Major species get two pages, with an illustration and at least a page of text; minor ones get small entries in the two-column section in the back. They provide a phonetic pronunciation and list the medium in which the species makes a notable appearance, but do not provide a thorough connection to the bibliography like the one in The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons. näyttää 3/3 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
