This sequel really plods. People get up, sit down, get up, eat, sit down, talk, walk, sit down, talk, etc. etc. When the story gets too tedious the author throws in an exclamation mark or two, which only emphasises the monotony.
The action in the story is totally predictable, even the 'twists' being telegraphed pages beforehand.
For all that, this book is eminently readable, thanks to Ms Ashley's skill as an author -- a print version of an episode from a TV series, one that you enjoy watching to the end but forget within minutes.
I think I'll draw the line with this book in the series and move on to other authors, other books. (
