Enemies to lovers is one of my favourite tropes. Even though this was less enemies than a major case of hairpulling. Enjoyed the mystery and the historical setting. Note: This is written in alternating 1st person pov. http://joshlanyon.blogspot.co.uk/2016/12/christmas-coda-45.html A public reading, a lot of people with grievances against the speaker, a shot, and there! a locked-door crime! I really enjoyed the mystery, but, although the book is undeniably well written, I failed to connect with the characters. I like them well enough, and I understand them. It's just... I wasn't truly committed to their relationship. Nevertheless, as I said before, the mystery holds itself really well, and as a whole, I like the story. The narrator does a good job with it, too. before reading the book I starting with theses thoughts: -love Josh Lanyon. New book means click-read -Some of Josh's books I read and re-read -Some I suffered to finish -90% of "modern time" books were a big hit for me -80% of "historical" books were a big disappointment to me So I'm crossing my fingers here. näyttää 4/4 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu

Felix Day, author of the Constantine Sphinx mysteries, and Leonard Fuller, author of the Inspector Fez mysteries, are bitter rivals and the best of enemies. Both happen to present when a notorious author of aroman © clefis shot by an invisible assailant during a signing at historic Marlborough Bookstore. Even if they weren't both suspects, it's the perfect opportunity to match wits and sleuthing skills. If only the murderer was equally amused. Kirjastojen kuvailuja ei löytynyt. |
