OMG...while I love learning more about the Reapers and what their mission is it's the side story that has got me hooked!

In this one we get to know Talin who has been assigned to spy at the Queen of Light's court. Now here is where it starts getting interesting...someone has posted a picture of Usaiel, the Queen, from a magazine showing her to be a famous actress and she is pictured with a blond man. Well this is sitting well with the Light Fae. But more interesting is the rumors going around that a Reaper is among them. They have no proof and always thought them legends told to keep young children in line.

Talin is seeing a Fae while he is at court. Neve comes from one of the more known and powerful Fae families. She loves Talin and suspects there is more to him than meets the eye. Plus she's got a stalker... she tells no one but her brother for she has just won a bit of freedom from her parents and doesn't want anything to risk that. In fact she doesn't even let Talin know about this.

So if you have read the others you know who's behind all of this and why. What I didn't expect, but love that it happens, is that Rhi feels there is something going on and quickly makes her way back to Court. By this time it's empty as all the Light have hidden if fear since Neve's whole family has disappeared and the Reapers are blamed. (I SOOOO LOVE RHI!!!!)

We get all the Reapers involved for the showdown including Daire who is just supposed to be keeping an eye on Rhi. But when Bran gets a hold of both Neve and Talin...well Rhi's not going to let one of the Light Fae's be taken without a fight. AND WHAT A FIGHT IT IS!!!!

I don't know where all the Rhi/Daire/Death story is going but I am so excited by the journey. And what about Talin popping off to Draegan by mistake and meeting one of the Kings....who then informs the rest of them that a Light had been on their land. And what's going on with Death/Erith? Sure this series is bout the Reapers finding their mates and what their missions for Death but OMG.. with Rhi in a staring position and now the beginnings of the Kings being brought into it....I'M IN HEAVEN!

Okay, so can you tell I'm a bit of a fan of all of them? Can't wait for the next Kings and Reapers books. ( )

Listened to audio narrated by Victoria McGloven. Talin is sent to the light fae court to spy but falls hard for Neve, even knowing he can't have her per Reaper rules. The evil Bran attacks Neve and her family to hurt the Reapers. Drama as they try to save Neve and her family and end Bran once and for all. Rhi is brought into the storyline from other series and another layer on Death is revealed.

Another great story in the Reaper series! In book three Bran, the fallen, is back at work trying to get revenge on Death and her Reapers. He has a plot in place that will disrupt some of the light fay and perhaps allow him to murder some of the Reapers. He is truly evil and set on revenge.

Book three is also the sometimes steamy story of Talin and Neve. With Death’s laws stating that Fay will meet a swift death if they become aware of the identity of Reapers it is not easy for Reapers to have long term relationships, be honest with those they might fall in love with or have a happily ever after. Neve, being a Light Fairy is in harm’s way by loving Talin – especially if his secret comes out.

There is murder, mayhem, torture and more in this action packed story. The Reapers stand together as they continue to do Death’s bidding while trying to deal with and put Bran out of action. I am looking forward to book four in the series and wonder if Rhi will end up with a Dragon or a Reaper…leaning toward Reaper…time will tell. I also want Death to find out she should not be alone and end up with the man I think is meant for her. Intriguing series and a fun read for me this afternoon. And, not having read any of the books in the Dragon series but having read reviews that there are overlaps in the two series, I am getting curious and wondering how to get my hands on copies of those books, too.
