I liked both characters, of course. Amy Lane is very good at creating engaging characters. The plot visits their past history within other scenes, which rarely fails to irritate me, hence minus one star. The other missing star is because the sex scene was only dialogue good, not action good, when AL usually does better for me. As that's the primary scene, I was disappointed this time around. I might've been last time, too, when I gave it five stars, but didn't yet know how to express that. Or I'm at a different mental place now. I'm not sad I re-read it, and I already got Phonebook, both free, to also re-read so I can read the third book, new to me.
