She's been in love with James, Robin's brother, almost since day one. This year she's almost 30 and she has made a plan to figure things out with James this summer. There were a few "almost relationships" in this story. Courtney/James, Robin/spoiler, and the oldest brother Henry is in an on/off relationship. There were ultimatums in every one, ultimatums that we're keeping the two apart. "We can be together if" I just didn't relate to Courtney's problem with James. She loves him but this issue might keep them apart. I don't want to post a spoiler, but I want to say that it was the only thing I didn't like with the storyline. But it really didn't work for me. It made me like Courtney a lot less than I would have otherwise. But I think it's entirely a personal response and their issue might not bother someone else at all.
