An ancient enemy attacks the Light Fae and secrets of the Cuelebre’s maybe exposed. I have come to love Pia, Dragos, and Liam, but these novellas are all starting to feel the same, with the Cuelebre’s being brought into a disaster and then one or the other has to save the other mate. It’s starting to feel the same old same old even the relationship has leveled out. As for Pia and Dragos I was not as in love with them in this novella. They where to obsessed with each other and themselves. I did enjoyed the little bit of mystery and action we got in the plot, but my favorite part are the dreams Pia has of the baby on the way. I just love what he is. As things go Pia Does Hollywood was an ok read and I will always be a fan of this couple, but I think it’s time the author moves on to writing about new or other couples in the Elder Races series. *Disclaimer: I purchased this book for my own consumption. I am thrilled for Pia and Dragos and so excited that we got to meet Stinkpot. Can’t wait to see how this second foray into parenthood goes for them. Thea Harrison is a master at offering a mix of intimate character moments as well as hints of things to come, and PIA DOES HOLLYWOOD is no exception. The after effects of Dragos's injury offer novel vulnerabilities for the big guy, raising the stakes and keeping things fresh. And for fans of the series that are eager for any details regarding the newest little Cuelebre, this is a novella you won't want to skip. Pia's travel curse is in full swing and she's not there a full day when it's revealed all is not right in the Light Fae demesne. The Light Fae demense is under attack putting everyone in danger and possibly revealing all their secrets.
I loved this novella and the fact it focused more on relationships and the effects of the attacks were having on everyone than the attacks themselves and the lovely sneak peeks at the little 'Stinkpot.' Although there is a part of me that wanted more details than we're given, I still enjoyed this story and Pia and Dragos' enduring relationship even through hardships.
On a side note this novella was written in 2015 long before Covid but their crisis could have gone the way of Covid making this possibly a more intense read for some readers.
