6. I personally thought this was a great book. I have seen several of these Who Is/What Was books and always thought they looked intriguing but never actually read one until now. Overall, it gave a fantastic overview of what the Super Bowl is, the history behind it, and game recaps from many past Super Bowls. It also highlighted players from several Super Bowls with short bios. There were a few inaccuracies I found, but other than that I would say that it would be a perfect book for any child who is a football fan (especially those reluctant boy readers.)
7. This book could be used in a few different cross-curricular ways. One that comes to mind would be using it with social studies/history. Another way, which might seem a bit archaic but useful nonetheless, would be using it with math if you were ever trying to teach Roman numerals. ( )
