From Head to Toe is a wonderful picture book that encourages movement. Kids too can stretch and bend and kick like the animals do! This is a perfect book for interactive storytime and one that encourages imaginative play. Carle's trademark artwork is on display here as well. He illustrated his works through collage, using hand-painted papers, which he cut and layered to form bright and colourful images that really "pop" on the page. Kids love this book, and I bet you will too. Suitable for all ages but toddlers and preschoolers really get a big kick out of this one. ( )
