Tricia Miles and her sister Angelica are joined on an author's cruise by the owners of numerous shops from Booktown (it's the slooww season) On the cruise, a very nasty author is murdered and Tricia works to solve the mystery.

Great change of pace for the characters but do miss those bookstores! ( )

I enjoyed this much more then the last few books in this series. This time books played a much larger role in the story and that's why I read this series. ( )

I mentioned this comment in an earlier review but it's even more important for this title in the series...This is one series that I'd definitely suggest reading "in order" as knowing the "back story" of the large supporting cast of characters definitely adds to the pleasure of reading the series and also gives the reader the fine nuances of the current updates.

I have enjoyed this series but I think around #8, I was almost ready to set aside this series as it seemed to be following some of the same patterns on the order of read one Danielle Steel romance, you've read them all. I'm so glad I didn't stop!

I thought #9 was my favorite but #10 is the definite favorite as it brings to light a habit of Tricia's that I've always wandered about and brings to light that abuse in one's past sometimes creates habits that are holding us back from full pleasures of living.

It was wonderful for the "main characters" to step out of the community setting and venture on a cruise to Bermuda for a vacation and escape from the winter weather. I hope other cozy mystery authors will follow this exquisite example of a setting change that brings a special richness to the entire series. ( )

Sisters, Tricia and Angelica, set off on a mystery writers cruise. Both own bookstores, while Angelica owns a couple other businesses and most of the town.

With extended family, employees and the town’s chamber, it’s an excursion to sail with authors, fellow bookstore owners, fans, and affiliated book related people.

When one of the more famous of the sea farers is found hanging in her suite’s shower (of course, by Tricia) it’s off to venture it a murder and solve the mystery behind it. One would think the entire population of this cruise would be deep set in solving it, but Tricia & Angelica seem to be the only two who believe it’s murder and not apparent suicide.

Add in an attractive security officer, a nefarious scooter, a secret admirer, and a dance off and it makes for an adventure at sea, until the confrontations. Once again, Tricia edits down the tome of possibilities and solves the dastardly deed. ( )
