Kinda slow. About 2 characters I didn't really know much about to begin with. Had a really weird, long cat funeral. Sadly, that's the most remarkable thing about this novella to me. More like 2 1/2 stars, but I'm rounding up to 3 because I like the rest of the series. ( )

Well written. Perfect flow. Great character build. Left you well satisfied.

The mystery of what is going on that Noel has been called to Nimra's side to investigate is interesting and takes up the majority of the story.

Their attraction to each other hits pretty fast but they don't act on it. Lot of intense reasons on both sides of that.

The steam is a slow burn but when it hits, it's very hot and passionate. The build up to their first encounter is full of sexual tension.

I loved both characters.

Listened to audio narrated by Justine Eyre. I normally really like this narrator but she did some strange things with the Cajun accents. I absolutely love this series, this was a nice addition to the series. Noel was sent to guard Nimra at her court, after recovering from terrible wounds he suffered. Vampires and Angels don't mix.

I enjoyed this short story. I liked both Nimra the Angel and Noel the Vampire. Nimra needs help and Raphael sends Noel, but he thinks he’s been cast aside; because of what happened to him. Both of them needed healing in different ways and they come to find what they need in each other.

Angel’s Wolf is a sweet, sad, and enjoyable read.

I read this one after reading both Angel's Blood and Archangel's Kiss so I've been exposed to a lot more background information about the series except I did wonder about what a relationship between and an Angel and a Vampire would be like. I wanted to see what makes an angel and vampire form a lasting bond or does/would that even happen in this world.

I first heard of Noel in Archangel's Kiss, so it was interesting to see that he was given his own little story. Noel's and Nimra's story was not as exciting as the other's in this Novella but I did get to see how the relationship dynamic plays out with an angel and vampire. Nimra was not really what she seems and because of Noel I got see who she truly is and who she had to be outwardly to be respected or should I say feared to keep her court shipshape. ( )
