Elena wordt ontvoerd door een organisatie die onderzoek doet naar hoe weerwolven, heksen en andere manifestaties van paranormale dingen functioneren. Clay, Jeremy en de anderen moeten haar natuurlijk bevrijden. ( )

there was a lot in this book. I admire the fact that Armstrong took the time to have everything explained and well paved, instead of rushing it and missing key points of the book. ( )

Pretty good, a bit predictable but faster paced than the last book. ( )

This series is comfortably competent. Intelligent but not challenging, snappily witty but not tying itself in knots, and driven by entertaining and strong female characters who get themselves into trouble and get themselves out again. I like 'em. (I've previously read Bitten and, I think, Dime Store Magic.) I don't love 'em to bits, but I can relax into them in the knowledge that nothing's going to drop ice down the back of my shirt. And there's a lot to be said for that. ( )

At first I couldn't stick with the book but as it got going the more engaged I became. There were some 'really you know better than that' moments in the book but overall I enjoyed it and the surprises that were tossed in.
