Rex is a vampire bounty-hunter. His hunt for a newborn vampire who is bad news and a thief brings him into The Kincaid shifter pack territory. While he is there, the pack alpha asks him to join to join them. He's surprised at first as shifters and vampires don't alway's get along. Then a beautiful shifter walks into the room and he is drawn to her, but she want's nothing to do with him at all.

Margery is a shifter from the Kincaid pack. When she first meets Rex she is secretly attracted to him but tries not to show it. She'd rather have nothing to do him, she had been attacked by rogue vampires when she was younger, she was lucky to survive.

As Rex and Margery spend time together, Margery is kidnapped and Rex finds him self on another hunt, a hunt for the woman he loves, his mate.

This was a great story. I just loved Rex and his fight with him self, that he finally believes the truth, he has met his mate at last. Margery had a lot of trust issues, but she was strong and just needed to relax a little, I liked her, everyone in the pack looked up to her.

If you enjoy a sexy, alpha male vampire, action and suspense, all mixed together with a big dash of hot romance this is for you. I can't wait for the next book in this terrific series. ( )
