36 of 75 for 2015. This is a book desperately seeking an editor. It speaks volumes about the writer's story telling that I really want to read more of her work. But my God, please find a good editor, or at least a proof-reader. I lost track of the number of times my head jerked back at a misspelled word, or just the wrong word (herd for heard, e.g.). Pronominal reference seems to be a chapter that the writer skipped because I found myself rereading paragraph after paragraph just to figure out who was the subject of the thought being expressed. All that said, both the mystery and the romance are well thought out, if not well written. And I do want to know more of the story of Pat and Ethan--especially since I know, even if Ethan hasn't figured it out, that wolves, even werewolves, mate for life. ( )
