A Love Letter from God by P.K. Hallinan tells a child of God's incredible and steadfast love for them in brief rhyming verse. Written as if a personal message from God, the words portray, for the most part, how the Bible speaks of His care for them. I question, though, one opening sentence (To Me, you are perfect, in every way). Precious perhaps but not "perfect." Regardless, the illustrations are playful, creative, and colorful. All in all, it is a book that kids will likely want to hear and see over and over again, as well as make a lasting impression about God's love for them. ( )

This book is a cute introduction of Gods love for a young child . I think if there was some actual scripture ( watered down for child’s understanding) it would have resonated more. Still a cute story and encouraging to a child that even if they mess up, God still loves them .

This is a great way to introduce to your young toddlers the Love God has for them and how He shows His love through nature and how they can see the wonders of His creation as forms of love to us. That regardless of how bad we are, God still loves us and wants to know us and have a relationship with us. This is a great little book that is full of bright colors and wonderful drawings that help them connect the words of what is being said and being able to apply it to the world around them.

An encouraging and uplifting read that helps us understand blessings and love. ( )
